At the Y&H Branch we are committed to upholding professional ethics in fire engineering and furthering the fire sector in all that we do
Here at the Yorkshire & Humberside Branch we are committed to providing opportunities for early careers and seasoned fire professionals to collaborate, learn and network; whilst showcasing fire safety activities from across the Yorkshire and Humberside region. Our work centres around our ethics of prioritising safety of the communities that we seek to protect, sharing knowledge and ideas for furthering the profession in exciting and innovative ways.
"We exist for our members. Our committee are dedicated to upholding our Values and providing meaningful content and opportunities for those across the fire sector. Our initiatives, campaigns and projects are all focussed on ensuring our members receive the highest quality input, and we are passionate about furthering the industry in any way that we can. That's why we set up the Y&H Branch, and why we continue to work on it's growth and success"
Joe Hart, IFE Yorkshire & Humberside Branch President
We strive to raise awareness of fire safety topics to benefit not only our members, but also the communities we seek to protect with our work.
We deliver this by engaging with members and communities, remaining active and present in the fire safety community, and by maintaining open two-way communication with our members.
We strive to share and disseminate knowledge to our audience in a high-quality, engaging and accessible way.
We deliver this by hosting a regular technical webinar series and annual in-person events, alongside our monthly newsletter and Technical Notes series.
We strive to spotlight our members from across the Y&H region and beyond, to inspire, motivate and empower others and foster collaboration.
We deliver this by publishing interviews and spotlight features in our monthly newsletter and online video series, and providing free Early Careers consultancy to all.
